Dalí-inspired melting shelf clock
This melting clock looks as though it is sliding over the edge of a shelf or desk. The face extends down the front of the furniture to create its soft-clock effect. It evokes surrealist imagery and adds an unusual touch to a bookcase or retro interior. It is a decorative object inspired by that imagery, not an official Salvador Dalí artwork or reproduction.
Size and operation
- Quartz movement, as stated in the product listing.
- Stated materials: metal and plastic, with a silver-look finish.
- Listed dimensions: 18 × 11 cm. Check the space on your furniture before placing it.
- Power: one AA (LR6) battery, not included.
Where to place it
Use a stable, sufficiently deep edge away from knocks. The upper part rests on the furniture while the face hangs down in front; this listing does not present it as a wall-mounted clock. Dust with a soft, dry cloth and keep water away from the movement and battery compartment.
